Verizon Wireless Rebate Status

Got an email today from VWZ about my rebate status on the LG VX8100 phone I bought.
It was nice to get a little reminder, letting me that they haven’t forgotten about my rebate, and it could still take as much as “10-12 weeks” to recieve it :-)

Well, it’s better than hearing nothing at all, which is what usually happens to me when I use rebates.

I had purchased a new phone in mar of 06 and a new contract. I still as of this date have not received my rebate of $50.00. My cell phone number on my nokia is 816-520-4191. I hadnt sent the bottom of the box in with the form and upon request from you I then sent in the information requested. Please take care of this matter. thank you, Wanda Scott

I had purchased my very first phone in May of 06 and two year contract.I still as of this date not received my rebate of $50.00 and the first call I made they say I had to wait 8 to 10 week. I call again and somebody say I cannot recall her name but she said it’s been shipped 05/18/2006. How is that happen while they say I had to wait 8 to 10 weeks????. Is VERIZON company is cheating customer like me????.. My cell phone number is 415-531-5410, But if VERIZON Wireless Rebate Dept. want to keep my $50.00 dollars rebate, just let me know..THANKS

Yeah…I never got my promised $50 either…Verizon has suceeded in SCAMMING thousands of people out of their hard-earned cash. Someone should start a lawsuit. “We never stop working for you” is their motto. Baloney…just another sad bunch of manipulative crooks in a twisted world.

My sister and I got the same phone at the same time–we both mailed in our separate mail in rebates. She got her $50 in the mail 2 weeks ago. Where is mine? We will never know. I’m pissed. But I guess 1 out of 2 ain’t bad considering most of ya’ll didn’t get yours.

i would call verizon directly. Hit 611 from your verizon phone, and then keep hitting 0 until you get a human.

I did not recieve my $50 rebate either.I complained with the rebate center and Verizon. They didnt even try to help.So I took my issue to the store where I bought my phone. The Verizon employee said he didnt recieve his rebate on his Verizon phone.Verizon cheats thier customers and employees.

I sent in the rebate info, including the cut out of the codes from the box. I get a letter saying my rebate was invalid, because I didn’t send those purchase codes in. Now it’s my word against theirs. I’ve been swindled!!!! I will never have anything to do with Verizon again and will tell as many people I know about this experience.

Verizon cheated me out of my rebate. I sent in the cutout proof of purchase from the box and they said I didn’t. Now I’m stuck without my $50.00. I will never have anything to do with them again.
