Here’s another video about the current political storm we are weathering here in the states, entitled Bush vs. Cheney Debate. If only these clips would get some real airtime, I think this pretty much sums up how I feel about this current Presidency.

So I purchased a laptop on October 3, 2004, and it was kind of shady how TCQ Computers got me into the store. They said over the phone I would have a 7-day return policy, and I could pay by check. After arriving in their store, the guy claimed that was not true, and there was no return policy on laptops, not to mention they wouldn’t take a check either.

So I took a risk. And it BACKFIRED on me!!

After a few weeks of mild usage, the laptop has crashed. It won’t even boot up anymore. I was researching some mutual funds, and the screen went blank, and the laptop shut down. At first I thought it was the battery, but when it didn’t boot up, I knew I was f*cked.

I paid $259 for a compaq armada. I just got off the phone with the guy, and he was claiming that nobody has ever complained about the compaqs he sells. Well, I know technically I agreed to a no-return policy, but I’m going to go in on monday and talk with his manager.

Ever since I was sick last week, I’ve been going to bed early, at about 9pm, and waking up at 5am. So instead of trying to fall back asleep to make it to my job by 10am, I decided, what the heck? I’ll go in instead.

This week has been nice, getting into the office between 6am and 6:30am. No traffic, best parking spot in the lot, and I definitely can be sure the coffee is regular (not decaf), since I’m the one who makes it :-)

I find I’m much more productive, and have been knocking out tons of bugs. It’s been Bug City at work, since the latest push to production. Most of which are fairly easy to fix. My usual work routine is:

1) Make Coffee

2) Rebase

3) Build Site

4) Install Site

Now it’s about 10am :-)

Meanwhile, while building I work on bugs, and then try to deliver all my fixes for the day by 2pm. I take off at about 3pm, and then I got the rest of the day to myself!!

Not that you really give a hoot, but nothin’ else has been happening lately. Go Boston! They won 8 straight to beat the Yankees (thank god), and sweep St. Louis in the World Series.

Now I can finally get through some of my netflix movies in my queue, there isn’t any baseball anymore.

Thanks George W. Bush for your incredulous leadership skills, which have propelled our country into the New American Century! It’s moments like these when I wonder why oh why are people upset with you? I mean, c’mon, you’re just one of the guys having a laugh, right?
